The Wait for VisionQuest Is Almost Over
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe approaches the year's end, eyes are turning toward the small screen. VisionQuest, the latest expansion of the WandaVision narrative, is set to hit Disney+ on October 14, 2026. This miniseries serves as a pivotal entry in Phase Six, arriving just weeks before the theatrical release of Avengers: Doomsday.
Created by Terry Matalas, the series follows Paul Bettany as he reprises his role as Vision. The story centers on the character as he navigates his identity and purpose, communicating with various artificial intelligence personalities embedded within his own programming. For those who haven't revisited the original 2021 series, now is the time; Marvel has even made the first three episodes of WandaVision available for free on their official YouTube channel to help fans get up to speed.

A Unique Episode Release Strategy
Unlike the standard weekly releases fans have become accustomed to, Disney+ is opting for a hybrid rollout for VisionQuest’s eight-episode run. New episodes will premiere at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET on their respective release dates.
- October 14: Episodes 1 & 2
- October 21: Episodes 3 & 4
- October 28: Episodes 5 & 6
- November 4: Episode 7
- November 11: Episode 8 (Finale)
This staggered approach ensures that the series concludes in early November, providing a buffer before audiences head to theaters for Avengers: Doomsday. By releasing the final two episodes individually, Marvel is clearly looking to build sustained tension leading into the finale.
VisionQuest is intended to be the 18th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe from Marvel Studios and is produced under its Marvel Television banner.
