A Major Milestone for Wealthtech
Stable Money, the Bengaluru-based wealthtech platform specializing in fixed-income investments, has successfully closed a significant funding round. The startup secured $25 million in a pre-Series C round led by Peak XV Partners, with continued support from existing investors including Z47, RTP Global, and the Fundamentum Partnership.
Founded in 2022 by Saurabh Jain and Harish Reddy, the platform has carved a niche for itself by simplifying access to products such as fixed deposits and bonds. This latest injection of capital brings the company's total funding to $65 million, valuing the firm at approximately $175 million—a 3.6x increase in valuation in less than two years.
Scaling for the Future of Savings
With the new capital, Stable Money plans to move beyond its core offerings to create a more comprehensive financial ecosystem. The company has outlined several key focus areas for the incoming funds:
- Strengthening the core digital infrastructure to improve user experience.
- Expanding the portfolio of savings products to offer a wider variety of low-risk instruments.
- Strategic hiring across key departments, including technology, product development, partnerships, and customer experience.
The platform has already gained significant traction, reportedly serving over 40 lakh users and facilitating substantial investment volumes. By focusing on fixed-income instruments—a segment traditionally seen as less 'glamorous' than high-growth equity—Stable Money is tapping into a massive demographic of risk-averse investors seeking stable, predictable returns.
The company’s growth trajectory reflects a broader shift in the Indian wealth management landscape, where digital trust and accessibility are driving more users toward structured, low-risk financial products.
